Jamie Lin


Jamie Lin is the President of Taiwan Mobile, a leading telecom and technology group in Taiwan, and Chairman and Partner at AppWorks, the largest startup accelerator in Greater Southeast Asia. He founded AppWorks in 2009 which now boasts over 350 active startups (generating US$13B in annual revenue), the largest of its kind in South East Asia. Before AppWorks, Jamie was a startup founder.

In 1999, he co-founded Hotcool.com, a pioneer in Taiwan’s burgeoning e-commerce industry and in 2006, Jamie co-founded travel startup Sosauce.com in New York. Growing up, Jamie started coding and putting computers together since the age of 10. He received his BS in Engineering from National Taiwan University and an MBA from NYU Stern. Jamie has been active in contributing back to the global community. He serves as a Member at the APEC Vision Group and the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) among many other community leadership roles.
