Finance officials focus on Covid-19

The recovery from Covid-19 and future fiscal policy was on the minds of the Asia-Pacific’s finance officials during a two-day meeting this week. 

The Finance and Central Bank Deputies Meeting (FCBDM) involved more than 100 officials and began on Wednesday, March 17.

It is a meeting that involves finance deputies and deputy governors of central banks from APEC economies.

FCBDM is led by Treasury, with APEC NZ providing support. The two three-hour meetings are an important part of the lead-up to the Finance Ministers’ Meetings later in the year.
